Seaman Schepps 1950 New York Very Rare 18Kt Gold Wired Ring Carved In Amber

A modernist piece from the late American art deco period. Has been created in New York city, circa 1950's by the American jewelers Seaman Schepps
This ring is the most rarest version of this carved series. Present an impeccable shrimp scalloped carving of natural amber and is embellished with multiples twisted wires, crafted of 18 karats yellow gold.
The actual size of this ring is 6.25 but, can be only downsized with a custom made spring ring sizing adjuster.
This piece have a total weight of 14.6 grams and the top view measures are 33 mm by 18 mm, raise 16 mm over the finger.
Seaman Schepps was an American jeweler famous for his retro style, 1950's jewelry design. The company was established in the 1905 as an antique and retailer store. in the 1931 was founded officially as a jewelry designer in New York and the workshop store was located at 516 in Madison Avenue. in the 1933 the business was so successful that they moved to a larger showroom at the 399 in the same avenue. The firm was sold in the 1992.
Collateral: A nice collector's piece in great condition. The amber gemstone is eye clean with great transparency, in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
