A vintage large pair, created in New York city, at the Seaman Schepps studio, back in the 1980's. These clips earrings were crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and suited with comfortable hinged omega backs for fastening clips. The posts option for pierced ears can be easily added.
Featuring an intricate caged design of eight twisted gold wires, that are holding a matching pair of bombe cabochon cut carved from natural white coral.
They have a combined weight of 42.1 grams and a measurements of 32 mm by 21 mm (1.26 x 0.83 inch).
Stamped with the company maker's mark, the serial numbers, the hallmark for the assay of the gold and signed, "SEAMAN SCHEPPS .750 2370".
Seaman Schepps was an American jeweler famous for his retro style, 1950's jewelry design. The company was established in the 1905 as an antique and retailer store. in the 1931 was founded officially as a jewelry designer in New York and the workshop store was located at 516 in Madison Avenue. in the 1933 the business was so successful that they moved to a larger showroom at the 399 in the same avenue. The firm was sold in the 1992.
Collateral: They are accompanied by the designer's jewelry presentation pouch and a pair of round rubbers for the omega comfort.
Condition: The overall condition of this earrings is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
