A iconic vintage pair, made in New York city by the American jewelers Seaman Schepps. They was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and suited with hinged omega backs for fastening clips. The posts option for pierced ears can be easily added.
Featuring an intricate caged design of twisted gold wires, holding a pair of cabochon cushion cuts, carved from natural rose wood.
Have a total weight of 24.6 grams and measures of 20 mm (0.79 in) by 26 mm (1.02 in).
They are both stamped with the company maker's mark, the serial numbers and the assay hallmarks, "SEAMAN SCHEPPS .750 2854".
Seaman Schepps was an American jeweler famous for his retro style, 1950's jewelry design. The company was established in the 1905 as an antique and retailer store. in the 1931 was founded officially as a jewelry designer in New York and the workshop store was located at 516 in Madison Avenue. in the 1933 the business was so successful that they moved to a larger showroom at the 399 in the same avenue. The firm was sold in the 1992.
