Beautiful antique piece, created in the 19th century by the goldsmith Karl Verlin in the city of Saint Petersburg during the imperial Russian period of the Tzar Nicholas I. (1825–1855). This Orthodox crucifix cross has been crafted back in the 1843 in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with high polished finish and embellished with engraved decorations allusive to the Orthodox and a loop on top to wear in a chain or a charms bracelet.
Has a total weight of 2.2 Grams and a measurements of 40 mm by 24 mm (1.58 x 0.95 Inches).
Stamped two times with Russian hallmarks; in the obverse and at the loop with the Saint Petersburg city mark, the maker's mark HB, for Karl Verlin, the year of production 1843 and the hallmark standart for the Russian assay of the gold for 56 zolotnik, equivalent to 14 karats or .559/.999 alloy.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this crucifix is very good. Beside the little normal wear and bending, there is no damage to the gold. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
