*Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co Mohawk ring in 18kt gold with 1.08 Cts of blue Sapphires

Sculptural cocktail ring designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co.

This sophisticate and unusual jewelry piece is called, The Mohawk. This rare ring was created in New York city in the 1980 and just a few were produced. 

This aerodynamic and smooth piece, was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and finished with very high mirrored polish. The top part is bezel set with 18 French caliber princess cuts of blue sapphire, with a combined weight of 1.08 carats. The sapphires are natural, not heated, translucent and with vivid blue color.

Have a total weight of 13.4 grams and the actual size is 6.75, sizeable.

The top view measures are 33 mm (1.30 inches) by 10 mm (0.40 inch) and raise 10 mm over the finger.

Is signed by the artist and stamped, with the maker's mark and the assay hallmarks, "TIFFANY & CO. ,750 C. PALOMA PICASSO 1980".

This ring is a serious collector's piece and is perfect condition. Paloma Picasso's jewelry is recognizable for the use of brilliants and colored gems, set in bold shaped designs.
