Gorgeous textured bold chain, created in New York city by the artist goldsmith Peter Lindeman, back in the 1970's. This rare long chain, was carefully crafted in solid textured yellow gold of 18 karats and suited with a hinged fold over security lock.
The design is composed by 52 cylindrical textured elements, attached together by invisibles links.
Has a total weight of 74.8 Grams and a lenght of 30 Inches (76.2 Cm).
Stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed, "LINDEMAN 18 KT".
Peter Lindeman was very active in New York city from the 1947 to the early 1970's. He was one of the very fine first called brand named jewelry designer and he has jewelry pieces exhibited in the permanent collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. As a note he was the personal jeweler of Elvis Presley and made for him many customized pieces and other extravagant pieces. He specialize in creations from the nature like animals flowers and stones.
