Heart pendant designed by Elsa Peretti (1940-2021) for Tiffany & Co.

Fabulous oversized piece, created by the iconic jewelry artist Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. studios, back in the 1975. This sculptural unusual piece has been crafted in the shape of an asymmetric heart in solid .925/.999 sterling silver, with 18 karats gold vermeil finish. It is high polished and fitted at the reverse, with a hidden fixed bar to wear as a pendant necklace or a belt buckle. The interesting fact about Peretti's pieces is, that all of them are not equals, each piece have his own personality and are unique, with variations in shape and contour. This is the biggest size produced.

Measurements: 65.60 mm by 66.0 mm by 21 mm (2.58 x 2.59 x .083 Inches).

Weight: 33.85 Grams (21.71 Dwt.).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed, "PERETTI TIFFANY & CO. 1975 ITALY STERLING".

Elsa Peretti

She was a very famous designer that joined Tiffany & Co in the 1974 and change the complete role of diamonds and color gemstones in fashion for the everyday wear and elevating the status of the sterling silver jewelry. Mostly using unusual gemstones and materials. all her creations are as modern today as ever.
