Art Deco Leaf earrings designed by Gino Pederzani.
Gorgeous vintage pieces, created in Milano Italy, by the famed jewelry house of Pederzani, back in the late 1940's. This mirrored pair has been crafted with Art-Deco patterns in solid .900/.999 platinum and suited with European omega backs for fastening clips. The posts option for pierced ears can be easily added.
The entire surfaces are embellished with a calibrated pave setting composed by 138 European round brilliant cut diamonds, 4.14 Carats, F Color, VS-1 Clarity.
They have a combined weight of 12.95 Grams and a measures of 32 mm by 17 mm (1.26 x 0.67 Inches).
Stamped, with the maker's mark, the platinum assay hallmark and signed, "PEDERZANI .750 PLAT 330MI".
Gino Pederzani, born in Verona in 1905. In 1943 he opens the main store at Via Manzoni in Milano, besides his wife Giovanna and soon also their two sons Claudio and Alberto joined the family business. In 1970 the business reached its great success thanks to the insight of the son Claudio, who launched the trend of the heart-shaped diamond cut and the jonquil diamonds, also called fancy yellows. In 1976 Mr. Pederzani handed down the jeweler's to his two sons. In 1990 the third Pederzani generation started to take its first steps in the family business when Alberto JR, Claudio's son, driven by strong passion, began working in the jeweler's, following in his father's steps.
