Geometric Sculptural Bauhaus Ring With a Blue Tourmaline.

Beautiful sculptural piece made in northern Europe, most probably Germany or Switzerland. This sleek one-of-a-kind minimalist ring was crafted with Bauhaus patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with light brushed and contrasting polished finish. Accented with four tubular structural elements made up of .950/.999 platinum.

Mount in a tension setting system, with one emerald faceted cornered cut (8.5 x 17 x 6 mm) of a rare natural Indicolite translucent blue-green tourmaline of 6.87 carats.

Has a total weight of 17.95 Grams and the actual size is 8, sizeable. The top view measurements are 9.3 mm by 20 mm.

Stamped, with the gold and platinum assay hallmarks, "PLAT 18 KT".

Note: The Bauhaus style tends to feature simple geometric shapes like rectangles circles and spheres, without elaborate decorations. Buildings, furniture, jewelry and fonts often feature rounded corners and sometimes rounded walls. Other buildings or decorative pieces are characterized by rectangular features, for example protruding balconies with flat, chunky railings facing the street, and long banks of windows. furniture often uses chrome metal pipes that curve at corners.

Note: Indicolite, also known as Blue Tourmaline, is a very rare complex magnesium iron boro-aluminium silicate hydroxide mineral and it is often found in metamorphic rocks and high-temperature hydrothermal veins. The meaning of Indicolite is a variation of the name Indigolite because of the crystal's deep indigo color. This Tourmaline variety gets its color from tiny iron impurities and has only a few known localities throughout the world. Brazil, Nigeria, and Afghanistan have the most important active deposits.

Note: The indicolite tourmaline, displayed in this ring, is gem quality, translucent, loupe clean and perfectly cut, with great proportions.

It is in perfect condition, with gorgeous look and great eye appeal.

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The Gemstone, are secured in the setting. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
