MODERNIST 1970 Mexico Sculptural Geometric Necklace In .925 Sterling Silver
A Mexican sculptural necklace in sterling.
This striking sculptural necklace was created in Taxco during the 1970s, showcasing the region’s celebrated modernist design aesthetic. Expertly crafted, it features individually made geometric elements in solid sterling silver, suspended along a black silk rope for a bold and fluid composition. The necklace is composed of eleven articulated, movable dangle pieces, creating dynamic movement and visual interest. It is secured at the ends with two cylindrical silver terminals, allowing the rope to be tied comfortably at the back of the neck.
