*German modernist 1970 cocktail ring in 18 kt gold with 15.05 Ctw opal & diamonds
A modernist jeweled cocktail ring.
A striking bold ring made in Northern Europe, surely Germany around the 1970's. It was crafted, with organics free-forms patterns in solid 18 karats of textured yellow gold.
Bezel set on top, with a free form cut of a very fine natural Australian opal of about 15 carats. The main gems is accented with 3 prong set round brilliant cuts diamonds, .05 Ctw, F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
Have a total weight of 21.5 grams and the actual size is 7, sizable.
The top view measures are 33 mm by 23 mm and raise 8 mm over the finger.
Stamped, with the European assay hallmark, "K18".
Note: The opal, is gem quality, translucent with a perfect cut and a phenomenal play of multi colors. Australian Opals have a reputation for being the most expensive opals in the world.
This ring is in perfect condition, with gorgeous look and the opal don't have any crazing.
