Modernist 1970 Bold Cocktail Ring In 18Kt With 3.15 Cts Of Diamonds And Emeralds
An exceptional modernist jeweled Cocktail Ring.
Very bold and unique oversized piece created in the early 1970's. This ring has been crafted, with a geometric stepped patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with very high polished surfaces,
The top part is embellished with 22 round brilliants cuts gemstones. All of them are very fine, calibrated in size and color. They are 11 white color less diamonds, 1.65 Ctw, F/G color, VS-2 clarity and 11 natural Colombian green emeralds from the Muzo mine. They have great vibrant green saturation and are eye clean, with a weight 1.50 Ctw.
The ring is pretty big and heavy, with a weight of 24.4 grams and a top view measures of 26 mm (1.02 inches) by 23.5 mm (0.93 inches).
The actual size is 6, sizeable.
Is stamped with the designer's maker mark and the assay hallmarks, "CR 18 KT".
Note: The emeralds are from the Muzo mine in Colombia, perfectly calibrated and matched in color, transparency and size.
