Modernism 1970 Cocktail Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Rock Quartz & VS Diamonds
Cocktail ring from the modernism period.
An estatement modernist bold ring, created during the modernist period, circa 1970's. This piece was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with the surfaces finished with Fiorentine patterns.
Mount on top, with a huge round fluted cabochon cut (25 x 25 x 14 mm) of natural rock quartz and 4 round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.24 carats, F color, VS-1 clarity.
Has a total weight of 29.3 Grams and the actual size is 7.5, sizeable. The top view measurements are 25 mm by 25 mm and raise 14 mm over the finger.
Stamped, with the hallmark for the gold assay, "18KT".
Note: Florentine finish is a textured crosshatched decorative technique engraved into the surface of a precious metal. It is usually applied by a hand tool and consists a series of parallel lines engraved in two directions perpendicular to each composed of intersecting sets of parallel lines. A flat graver that cuts a series of lines is used for this technique.
