Mellerio Dits Meller 1970 Paris Rare Necklace In 18Kt Yellow Gold With 1.11 Cts In VS Diamonds

Beautiful one-of-a-kind piece, created in Paris France by the renowned jewelry house of Mellerio, back in the late 1970. This unique necklace has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish and suited with a push boxed lock. 

The design is composed by 20 rectangular linked elements, two of them mounted with a French pave setting of 10 very fine calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.11 carats, E/F color, VS-1 clarity.

Has a total weight of 95.7 grams and fit a neck up to 15 Inches (38 Cm). The width measure is 12.3 mm (1/2 Inch)

Stamped, with French hallmarks; the national eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche Ste. LFV, associated to the Societe Lasbleiz, Fournier et Vittielo, the unique serial numbers and signed, "MELLERIO PARIS 18 KT D1.11 4655CH".

Mellerio-Dits Meller, is a French jewelry house, founded in 1613, and still active today. It claims to be the oldest family company in Europe. It gives its name to the Mellerio cut, a 57-facet jewel cut, shaped as an oval within an ellipse. Today Mellerio is based at Rue de la Paix, Paris, with branches in Luxembourg and Japan.
