A vintage piece created in Paris, France during the mid-century, around the 1960's. This Toi et Moi cocktail ring, was crafted with a bypass design in 18 karats of textured yellow gold and embellished with carvings of natural salmon coral.
One of the by-pass elements is accented with 10 European round cuts diamonds, 0.15 carats, F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
Have a total weight of 6.7 grams and the actual size is 7, sizable.
The top view measures are 14 mm by 22 mm.
Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the guaranty and assay of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, JTB, the serial numbers and signed in full, "MAUBOUSSIN PARIS .750 3733".
Note: The maker’s cartouche JTB, is associated to the French master jeweler, maitre Jean-Thierry Bondt. Monsieur Bondt workshop was located in Paris 2 at 19 rue de Choiseul, he collaborate, with Mauboussin, VCA, Cartier & Boucheron between the 1950’s and 1970’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 2006.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold with all the original aged patina. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
