Mauboussin 1960 Paris Hoop Earrings In 18Kt Gold With Diamonds And Carved Lapis Lazuli

A beautiful vintage pair, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Mauboussin during the late mid-century period, back in the 1960's. These pair of hoop earrings have been crafted with a bypass design in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with textured finish and embellished with two carvings of natural blue lapis lazuli. Fitted with hinged French omega backs for fastening clips

Diamonds: The bypass elements are channel set with 20 European round cuts diamonds, 0.30 carats, F/G color, VS-2 clarity.

Weight: 12.95 grams (8.32 Dwt).

Measurement: 26 mm by 15 mm (1.02 X 0.58 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped, with French marks; the eagle's head for the warranty and assay of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, JTB, the serial numbers and signed in full, "MAUBOUSSIN PARIS .750 3743".

Note: The maker’s cartouche JTB, is associated to the French master jeweler atelier of Jean-Thierry Bondt. Monsieur Bondt workshop was located in Paris 2 at 19 rue de Choiseul, he collaborate, with Mauboussin, VCA, Cartier & Boucheron between the 1950’s and 1970’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 2006.

Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of these earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
