-Lalaounis 1970 The Minoans And Mycenaeans Hoops Earrings In Solid 18Kt Yellow Gold

A pair of hoops earrings designed by Ilias Lalaounis.

Gorgeous pair of hoops earrings, created in Greece by the jewelry house of Ilias Lalaounis, back in the 1970's. These beautiful vintage and bold pair are part of the collection named the Minoans and Mycenaeans and has been carefully crafted in the  ancient Magna Graecia artistic style, in solid rich yellow gold of 18 karats. The entire surfaces are treated with hammered, textured, chiseled and polished finishes. They are fitted at the reverse with discrete hinged tension backs for fastening clips.

Weight: Combined of 33.8 Grams, (21.67 Dwt).

Measurements: 45 mm by 12 mm (1.89 x 0.47 Inches).

Hallmarks: Both are stamped with the maker's monogram mark of Lalaounis, the workshop mark A8, the Greek gold assay mark for 18 karats and signed in full "LALAOUNIS A8 .750 GREECE MECAN".
