Lalaounis 1970 Minoans and Mycenaeans Round Clips Earrings In 22Kt And 18Kt Yellow Gold
A pair of round Earrings designed by Ilias Lalaounis.
Beautiful statement round shield earrings, created in Greece by the jewelry house of Lalaounis back in the 1970's. These gorgeous vintage bold pair are part of the collection named Minoans and Mycenaeans and has been carefully crafted with ancient Greece art patterns in solid rich yellow gold of 22 karats, with hammered, textured and polished finish. They are fitted at the reverse with hinged omega backs in 18kt gold for fastening clips and the option of posts for pierced ears can be easily added.

Hallmarks: Both are stamped, with the maker's mark, the Greek gold assay mark for 22 and 18 karats and signed in full "LALAOUNIS A21 .750 GREECE". (Clips Backs are 18kt).
