Liu Fang Hong Kong Toi Et Moi Ring In 18Kt Gold With Ancient Roman Red Agate Carvings
A sculptural ring designed by Liu Fang.
Modern unusual piece, created in Hong Kong by the artist jeweler Liu Fang, back in the 1990's. This Toi et Moi ring is a one-of-a-kind piece carefully crafted in yellow gold of 18 karats following the ancient jewelry craftsmanship techniques, with polished finish.
It is embellished at the ends with a pair of ancient (100 BC) Roman cabochon carvings of natural red-orange agate. Both gemstones have a total weight of about 9.55 carats and are in excellent polished shape, with great saturation and transparency.
Liu Fang, is a women jewelry designer and a resident artist in Hong Kong. The main focus of all her designs are the re-use of valuable ancient archaeological parts from different cultures around the world and any period, reinventing their use in new jewelry pieces.
Has a total weight of 6.9 grams and the actual size is 5.5, sizeable.
Stamped with the designer maker's cartouche, the hallmark for the assay of thE gold and signed "LF AU 18KT. A.J.".

Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
