Kutchinsky London Geometric 1960 Modernist Pendant Brooch In 18Kt Yellow Gold

Beautiful geometric pendant-brooch created in London, United Kingdom by the famous house of Kutchinsky, circa 1960's. It was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with polished and textured surfaces. The pendant was assembled piece by piece, constructed with multiples triangle elements with textured incised dots and plain surfaces exhibiting a geometric pattern.

The reverse is suited, with a hinged double pins, with a trombone lock to be use as a brooch and a hinged enhancer with a figure 8 to wear as a pendant into a chain or pearls necklace.

Have a weight of 33.3 grams and measures of 56 mm (2.2 inches) by 58 mm (2.28 inches).

Kutchinsky, was a jewelry company founded in the 1890 and was always based in London, United Kingdom. They has been very well know jewelry makers, with attention to fine quality, craft and well-made designed pieces, This piece was made in the beginning of the 1970's when the company was more focused on larger pieces right in step with the style of the seventies.
