Kutchinsky 1972 London 18Kt Yellow Gold Retro Cocktail Ring With Malachite

A rare vintage retro cocktail ring created in London by the house of Kutchinsky in the 1972. It was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with bubbled textured surface. Bezel set at top, with a fancy cabochon round cut of a natural green malachite.
The weight of this ring is 21.3 grams and the actual size is 8, sizeable.
The top view measure is 24 mm by 23 mm and raise 18 mm over the finger.
Stamped, with the maker's mark, the British, London hallmarks, the letter R, for the production year 1972 and signed, "KUTCHINSKY 18 KT R".
Kutchinsky, was a jewelry company founded in the 1890 and was always based in London, United Kingdom. They has been very well know jewelry makers, with attention to fine quality, craft and well-made designed pieces, This piece was made in the beginning of the 1970's when the company was more focused on larger pieces right in step with the style of the seventies. As usual made in 18 karats gold this piece is one of the perfect examples of the late Kutchinsky mid-century taste.
