Very rare vintage, one-of-a-kind pieces created back in the 1970's by Kurt Aepli in Zurich, Switzerland. This geometric clip-earrings was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with very high polished surfaces and are suited at the reverse, with omega backs for fastening clips. The posts option for pierced ears can be easily added,
Conceived as a sleek and clean wearable minimalist sculpture, they was designed, with the concave geometric figure of the circle interrupted by a depression.
They has a total weight of 20.7 Grams and a diameter of 35 mm (1.38 Inches).
They are both stamped, with the maker's mark and the Swiss gold assay hallmark, "TRUDEL .750".
Kurt Aepli, born in the 1914. he was a master swiss designer, teacher and a talented goldsmith. was the chief designer of the Zurich firm Meinrad Burch, between the 1942 until 1967 and them when Trudel Juwelier acquire the firm, he remains as the artistic director until 1980. He also made some design for others firms like Gubelin and Patek Philippe. Was an active professor at the Zurich applied art school between the 1945 until 1954.
