An unusual geometric ring, created in Paris France at the jewelry atelier of Jean Thierry Bond, back in the late 1970. This cocktail ring has been crafted in a pyramidal shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and mounted with a great selection of natural earth mined gemstones.
Diamonds: Flanked in a French pave setting, with 24 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.72 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.
Tourmaline: Mount in the center in a flush eight-prongs setting, with 1 round faceted cut of a green tourmaline of 1.20 carats.
Others: Embellished with 1 faceted pyramidal cut of a natural black onyx.
Birthstone: Tourmaline for the month of October.
Weight: 7.7 Grams, (4.94 Dwt).
Size: 6 sizeable.
Measurements: 20 mm by 11 mm (0.79 x 0.43 Inches) and raise 8 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks Stamped with French marks; the maker's mark associated to Jean Thierry Bond, the export mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "JTB".
Note: The jewelry workshop of Jean Thierry Bond was located in Paris 2 at 19 Rue De Choiseul, he collaborate closely with Boucheron and VCA between the 1960’s and the 1970’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 2006.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
