Italian 1960 Enameled Musician With Banjo Brooch In 18Kt Gold With Blue Sapphires
An Italian brooch with a musician playing a banjo.
This is a very beautiful brooch, created in Italy during the mid-century modernist periods, back in the 1960. This brooch has been crafted with twisted wires made up in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Designed as a seated musician playing a banjo. It is embellished with application of red and green glass enamels and three natural earth mined calibrated blue sapphires. It is fitted at the reverse with a hinged pin bar and a mechanical security lock for safety.
Sapphires: Mounted in bezel settings, with 3 round faceted cut blue sapphires with 0.06 carats.
