An antique continental sculpture of standing Venus.

This is a beautiful carved antique sculpture created in Europe during the early 19th century, circa 1800's. The neo-classic carving depicts the standing naked figure of Venus looking forward, leaning against a column holding a toga with left hand and raising the right hand The carving is magnificent, well executed and nicely proportioned. Mounted in a rectangular plinth base.

Period: Neo-classic, 1800-1820.
