-Hermès Paris 1970 Very Rare Birkin Chained Necklace In Solid 18Kt Yellow Gold

An exceptional and extremely rare necklace, created in Paris France by the luxury house of Hermès, back in the 1970's. This fantastic chained collar is very artistic, of great statement and a superb piece of jewelry for any collector. Has been designed following the handle patterns of the iconic Birkin bag and crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The necklace is made up by two elegant curved rigid pieces, which are connected by twelve movable links. It is fitted with a discreet security hinged snap push lock. This necklace is very versatile and can be used in two ways; with the chained parts upfront or at the back or vice versa.

Weight: 190.27 Grams, (121.5 Dwt).

Measurements: The links are 22 mm (0.87 Inches).

Size: It is very comfortable, with an inside circumference of 16 Inches (40 Cm).

Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks, three times with the head of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's mark DP inside a lozange cartouche, the mark for the assay of the gold, the serial numbers and signed, "HERMES .750 32757".

Note: This necklace is extremely rare, most probably from a very limited edition by Hermès, a prototype piece or a special custom made order. We was unable to locate any other one similar to this.

Collateral: It is accompanied by the designer's presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All parts are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
