+Hermes Paris 1930 Art Deco Otomato Portable Ermeto Watch In Red Black Lacquer And Sterling Silver
A travel otomato purse clock designed by Hermes.
An extremely rare travel clock, created in Paris France by the luxury house of Hermes during the art deco period, back in the 1935. This piece is highly collectible and has been crafted with geometric patterns in the shape of a cigar cutter in solid sterling silver .925/.999 and embellished with application of vivid red and black lacquer.
This otomato clock is fitted with double push tabs at the sides to be pressed at the same time and open to discover the dial. It is mechanical hand-winding with a concealed crown. The dial is white with gold arabic numerals and gold hands, signed Hermes Otomato.
Fitted in one side with a fixed bale to wear in a chain or hang from a hand-bag.
Weight: 95.4 Grams, (61.15 Dwt).
Measurements: 60 mm by 46 mm by 11.5 mm (2.36 x 1.81 x 0.46 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with French hallmarks, two times with the Swan importation mark for the assay and warranty of the silver and signed, "HERMES PARIS OTOMATO SWISS MADE IMPORTÉS DE SUISSE 1159578 1749139 -3147-".

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver or the lacquer. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
