ANDREW GRIMA 1963 London Turquoises Massive Brooch In 18Kt Gold With Diamonds
A sculptural gems-set brooch designed by Andrew Grima.
This is a fabulous brooch created in London by the acclaimed designer-goldsmith Andrew Grima, back in the 1963. The extremely rare brooch is a unique one-of-a-king piece masterfully hand-crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The brooch is an abstraction of a chrysanthemum and is embellished with seven matching white colorless diamonds and nine mixed cabochons of blue turquoises. This brooch was designed during the pick period of Andrew Grima and is fitted at the reverse with a hinge horizontal pin bar with a trombone lock to wear as a brooch. An adapter to wear as a pendant may be customized and made to order. A truly masterpiece of British design.
