Gucci Milano Rare Sculptural Free Form Cocktail Ring In 18Kt Gold With 20.02 Cts In Diamonds And Agate
Beautiful gems set ring designed by Gucci.
An ultra modern contemporary piece made in Milano, Italy by the iconic house of Gucci. This sculptural ring is part of the Gucci Collection Privee and has been carefully crafted in solid white gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish.
The main decorative element is a piece of translucent purple agate, carved into an amorphous cabochon shape, which dramatically crosses the walls of the ring creating a kind of cantilevered bridge. The approximate weight is about 18 carats.
The surfaces on both sides are covered by an impeccable pave setting of 135 round brilliant cuts diamonds, with a combined weight of 2.02 carats, F color, VS-2 clarity.
Has a total weight of 18.95 grams and the actual size is 7, sizeable. The top view measures are 29 mm by 16 mm.
Stamped, with the maker's mark, the Italian gold assay hallmark and signed, "GUCCI MADE IN ITALY .750 GUCCI *472AR".
Gucci, was founded in 1921 in the Tuscany region of Italy, in Florence , when Guccio Gucci bought his own shop on 7, Via della Vigna Nuova in Florence, Azienda Individuale Guccio Gucci, where he sold imported leather luggage. He also opened a small workshop to have his own leather goods made by local craftsmen. Eventually, a larger workshop had to be acquired to house Gucci's 60 artisans. In 1935 the invasion of Ethiopia by Mussolini led the League of Nations to impose a trade embargo on Italy. Leather became scarce, pushing Guccio Gucci to introduce other fabrics in the composition of the products, such as raffia, wicker, wood, linen and, jute. The rombi motif, a Gucci signature, was created. The Gucci's developed a new tanning technique to produce "cuoio grasso", which became a Gucci trademark. In 1937, Gucci launched its handbags. Under the direction of Aldo Gucci (son of Guccio), Gucci became a worldwide-known brand, an icon of the Italian Dolce Vita. During the 2010s, Gucci became an iconic 'geek-chic' brand.
Note: We are sure that only few pieces were produced, probably not more than 20 rings in different sizes. we have not been able to locate any other similar to this one.

Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This ring has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
