VERY RARE SCULPTURAL RING DESIGNED BY GILBERT ALBERT (1930-2019).

AN AERODINAMIC CREATION MADE AROUND THE 1970'S BY THIS SWISS MASTER JEWELRY DESIGNER. IS HAND CRAFTED IN 18 KARATS GOLD WITH INTRICATE PEBBLE TEXTURES AND ACCENTS OF WHITE GOLD.

THIS RING IS COMPOSED BY A SINGLE SINUOUS AND CONTINUOUS ELEMENT, WITH THE INTENTION TO BE USED WITH OR WITHOUT THE 10 mm GEMSTONES SPHERES. THE GEMSTONES INCLUDED ARE; RED CORAL, LACE AGATE, BLACK ONYX, TIGER EYE AND LAPIS LAZULI. IN ANY CASE THERE ARE INFINITE COMBINATIONS SINCE ANY SPHERICAL ELEMENT WITH A DIAMETER OF 10 mm FIT. 

THE WEIGHT OF THIS RING IS 11.5 Grams (PLUS THE CARVED SPHERES) AND THE ACTUAL SIZE IS 9, CAN BE SIZED.

STAMPED WITH HIS MAKER'S LOGO, GA AND THE HALLMARKS ".750".

GREAT EYE APPEAL AND IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION.

GILBERT ALBERT BORN IN GENEVA, SWITZERLAND IN 1930, WAS A JEWELRY DESIGNER AND ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL JEWELER ARTIST OF THE 20th AND 21th CENTURY WITH MORE THAN 10 WORLD AWARD WINNING PRIZES. HE MADE IMPORTANT SCULPTURAL JEWELRY WORKS FOR THE PATEK PHILIPPE COMPANY AND HE WORKED THERE AS PART OF THE DESIGNER TEAM. WAS HEAD OF THE WORKSHOP FROM THE 1955 TO 1962, DURING WHICH TIME HE DESIGNED HIS SIGNATURE ASYMMETRICAL WATCHES FOR THE COMPANY. HE OPENED HIS OWN ATELIER IN 1962 AFTER LEAVING THE PATEK PHILIPPE CO. HE ALSO WORKED FOR THE OMEGA SA WATCH COMPANY. RECENTLY HE OPENED BOUTIQUE STORES IN PARIS AND NEW YORK CITY.
