This is a gorgeous cocktail ring created in New York City by Tiffany & Co, back in the 1990's. The ring was crafted with classic patterns in solid .900/.999 platinum with polished finish. It is embellished with a great selection of natural earth mined gemstones, such one exceptional Gia certified translucent vivid green Colombian emerald and twelve calibrated pear-shaped white colorless diamonds.
Emeralds from Muzo
Muzo green describes the best color for Colombian emeralds commonly known in the trade as "Old Mine". The valuable mark Muzo in certificates helps to clarify that the various emerald mines in Colombia can produce this very fine and strongly saturated color. Muzo is a town and municipality in the western Bocaya province, part of the department of Bocaya, Colombia. It is widely known as the world capital of emeralds for the mines containing the world's highest quality gems of this type.
Emerald: Mount in the center in a four-prongs setting, with 1 octagonal rectangular step cut (8.75 x 7.51 x 5.65 mm) natural Colombian vivid green emerald of 2.548 carats. (Emerald weight inscribed). The emerald is Gia certified, stating the Colombian origin.
Diamonds: Mounted around in prongs settings, with 12 well matched pear brilliant cut diamonds, with a total of 1.46 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS clarity. (Diamonds weight inscribed).
