GERMANY 1870 Black Forest Oversized Cigar Humidor Box In Carved Oak Wood
A German cigar humidor box carved in oak wood.
This is a fabulous oversized black forest humidor box created in northern Europe, most probably in Germany or Switzerland, back in the 1870-1880. The humidor box is rectangular with very well proportions and has been carefully carved in solid oak wood and decorated at all sides with with ornate floral & foliate organic patterns. It is fitted with a solid lid, with two brass hinges and in the interior with several compartments of different sizes. Mounted on four ornately carved feet. This would adorn any humble lodges as well as stately homes.
