This round box was carefully crafted at the workshop of Alexander Krauss, with impeccable details in solid .900/.999 standard silver with yellow gold gilt interiors finish. Made of circular form with a three barrels hinged lid raised by a simple thumbpiece. Engine turned concentric guilloche decoration topped with applications of translucent turquoise green enamel.

Weight: 58.95 Grams, (37.78 Dwt).

Measurements: Diameter of 48 mm and a height of 21 mm (1.65 x 0.83 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped twice with Austrian marks, the portrait of Diana inside an hexagonal cartouche with the A for the city of Vienna the the number 2, the maker's mark AK inside a rectangle cartouche associated to Alexander Krauss and the mark for the assay of the .900 silver.

Is a term used in fine jewelry or objets de vertu to enhance the appearance of boxes, frames, brooches, rings or pendants. Guilloché enamel refers to metal pieces that have been given the Guilloché treatment and then covered with a translucent layer of enamel, giving the geometric patterns underneath the enamel a colorful hue.

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry pouch.

ConditionThe overall condition of this box is very good. Beside the little normal wear, there is no trace of wear to the silver. The enamel is secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
