A German neo-gothic scent bottle in red glass and gilded silver
This is a gorgeous antique scent-perfume bottle created in Europe between the 1800 and 1810. The exceptional exotic bottle, flask, flacon was carefully carved with several elements such thick red glass and parts masterfully crafted in solid .850/.999 sterling silver with gilded finish. The silver parts depict neo-gothic patterns with engraved, chiseled and incised classic patterns of a bouquet of flowers and two cupids holding a family crest. The bottle is fitted with a concealed three-barrel hinge, a snap lock system and the interior glass lid. Back in time this bottle was a luxury piece since perfumes was very expensive. This masterpiece will display wonderful in a cabinet of curiosities and rare Object De Vertu.
