French 1960 Deco Retro Bakelite Cocktail Ring In 18Kt Gold With Diamonds
A French deco cocktail ring.
Beautiful piece, made in Paris France during the post-war period, circa 1960. This cocktail ring was crafted in yellow gold of 18 karats yellow and embellished with a fluted scalloped shank carved from amber bakelite.
The staggered element on top is mounted with 22 sparkling round european cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.25 carat, F/G color, VS/SI clarity.
Has a total weight of 9.7 grams and the actual size is 8, sizeable. Sizing beads, a collar or a spring sizer can be added to accommodate a smaller finger, but the ring’s size cannot be increased more than one number.
The top view measurements are 15 mm by 22 mm and raise 11 mm over the finger.
Stamped with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre mark LC, and stamped, "750".
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The diamonds are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
