French 1970 Rare Bergdorf Goodman Pair Of Cufflinks In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Lapis Lazuli
French pair of cufflinks for Bergdorf Goodman.
Beautiful bold pair of men's cufflinks, made in Paris, France, circa 1970's. They was crafted in solid solid yellow gold of 18 karats and suited with a hinged flexible T bar.
The entire surface is highly textured with sharp patterns and embellished with 12 claws that are holding a pair of flat squared carvings of natural Afghan blue Lapis Lazuli.

Measurements: 17 mm by 17 mm by 26 mm (0.67 x 0.67 x 1.02 Inches)
They are both stamped with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche for Ste, W.F. (Societe WF) and signed, "WF18 KT B.G. PARIS".
Note: In the decade of the 60's thru the 80's the luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman, commissioned a lot of jewelry from many Parisian jewelry ateliers. The mark B.G. correspond to the company name initials.
Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of these cufflinks are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
