A French Gem-set Cocktail Ring attributed to Van Cleef & Arpels.
Gorgeous piece, made in Paris France back in the 1970's. This colorful cocktail ring was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and embellished with fluted elements carved in natural angel's skin and reddish salmon corals.
Mounted, with a fabulous pave setting, composed by 48 graduated (.09-.03 cts) round brilliant cut diamonds, with a combined weight of 2.52 carats, E/F color, VS-1 clarity.
Has a total weight of 10.95 Grams and the actual size is 6.75, sizeable. The top view measurements are 24 mm by 21 mm.
Stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed, "(VC)... A FRANCE 18KT".
Note: This ring has been previously resized and the signature is partially missing, with remains of only several letters as follow, ...... A FRANCE 18 KT. The maker's mark is the same of VCA.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
