-French 1925 Art Deco Enameled Mechanical Compact Pendant Box In Sterling Silver
A French guilloche enameled pill box.
Beautiful French enamelled mechanical compact, created Paris during the art deco period, circa 1925. This beautiful box was carefully crafted with impeccable details in solid .925/.999 standard silver. The interiors are finished with gilt and fitted with a mirror. Has been made in rectangular form with curved edges and is fitted with seven barrels and a hinge lid, that raise by a simple thumbpiece. Decorated with a panel of blue enamel, which is framed by white enamel. This box have at the sides two removable parts for the lipstick stick and the perfume stick. Has on top an elaborated ring to hang from a chain.

Measurements: 77 mm by 48 mm and a height of 11 mm (3.03 x 1.89 x 0.43 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks, the maker's mark RA inside a lozange cartouche, twice with the French mark for the assay of the silver, the case number 8 and signed, "FRANCE BREVETE SGDG 8".
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry pouch.
Condition: The overall condition of this box is very good. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the enamel. All pieces secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
