*Jean Vendome 1956 France sculptural Three-Towers ring in 18 kt yellow gold with 3 tourmaline
Sculptural ring by Jean Vendome (1930-2017).
An extremely rare geometric ring created by the artist-jeweler Jean Vendome (Ohan Tuhdarian) in Paris France in the 1956. This type, is the model named, "Bague A trois tours" is an unique one-of-a-kind piece, crafted in 18 karats yellow gold.
The three-dimensional design is composed by three graduated elements of different thickness and heights. They are mounted with 3 natural green tourmalines (4.25 carats) carved with cylindrical shapes.
Have a total weight of 8.2 grams and the actual size is 5, is sizable and is suited with a spring sizer inside the shank to adjust.
The top view measures are 18 mm by 10 mm and raise 13 mm over the finger.
Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold and the maker's maitre cartouche OT, for OHAN TUHDARIAN associated to the atelier of Jean Vendome.
