Free form mid-century Jeweled Brooch.
Beautiful piece with the abstraction design of a flamenco dancer or a carnivalesque figure. This piece was made in Spain, during the mid-Century period, circa 1960. It is an unique brooch crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, finished with Florentine technique and with applications of turquoise blue hot enamel.
Suited, with white gold settings for the gemstones and with a double hinged vertical pins to wear.
Mounted with 4 natural turquoises of different cuts, with a combined weight of about 8 carats. The 5 four-prongs settings are mounted with round brilliant cuts diamonds, 0.60 carats, F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
Have a total weight of 30.6 grams and a measures of 102 mm (4 inches) by 30 mm (1.18 inches).
Stamped with the hallmark for the assay of the gold, "18 KT".
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
