European mid century cufflinks with natural gemstones.

Very unusual and beautiful pair of cufflinks, created in Germany during the mid century period, back in the 1950's. Crafted with a rectangular shape in solid white gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Fitted with customs made backs, to give the appearance they are floating and pupping out the shirt-cuffs. They are embellished with a very fine selection of natural, earth mined gemstones. 

Diamonds: Mounted in bezel settings, with 2 matching bullet brilliant cut diamonds, 1.24 carats, near colorless H/I color, SI-1 clarity

Sapphires: Mounted in flush prongs settings, with 48 calibrated round faceted cut of natural blue sapphires, with 2.42 carats.

Birthstone: Sapphires for the month of September.

Weight: 11.705 Grams, (7.55 Dwt).

Measurements: 20 mm by 10 mm by 23 mm (0.79 x 0.39 x 0.91 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "18Kt H".

Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of these cufflinks are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
