Beautiful and unusual pair of sculptural clips-on earrings, created in London England by the jewelry designer Elizabeth Gage, back in the 2004. These ovoid bombe shaped earrings have been crafted with a geometric pattern of naïve figures in solid rich yellow gold of 18 karats with dotted textured surfaces. They are fitted at the reverse with hinged omega backs for fastening clips and the addition of gold posts for pierced ears can be easily done.

Hallmarks: Stamped with British crown marks for the city of London (Lion), the maker's mark EG associated to Elizabeth Gage, the mark for the assay of the 18kt gold, the letter for the year of production E (2004) and signed, "GAGE EG .750 E. STE SGDG".
Elizabeth Gage
She is a British jewelry designer and trained master goldsmith who has been creating collectable jewelry for over 50 years. She has been described by the trade as someone "whose large rings, historical references, gorgeous stones and elaborate craftsmanship set the tone for a whole generation". Elizabeth Gage works in 18 and 22 carat gold. Her 'Helios' gold necklace, featured in Tattler magazine, took 203 grams of gold and 93 man hours to create. Elizabeth’s approach to design is as unique as the jewels themselves. She combines different elements in her work which she chooses for their individual beauty; exquisite stones, ancient bronzes, beautiful carvings, baroque pearls, in fact anything where the shape and colour inspire her.
