Beautiful geometric circular pair, created in Paris, France at the jewelry atelier of the iconic designer Dinh Van. This pair of geometric studs earrings are from the PI CHINOIS collection and has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 22 Karats (.920/.999), with hammered finish. They are suited with posts for pierced ears and butterfly push backs.
This sophisticated design synthesizes the architectural geometric style that characterizes Dinh Van.
Has a total weight of 7.2 grams and diameter of 16.5 mm (0.65 Inches).
Stamped with the maker's mark cartouche DD associated to Dinh Van, the hallmark for the assay of 92% gold and signed, "DINH VAN 22KT-920".
Jean Dinh Van is a French designer, that was born in 1927 from a French-Vietnamese family. His successful career started behind the workbench at the French jewelry house of Cartier in 1946 and then work for Pierre Cardin. In 1972 he started his own company and the followed years his revolutionary designs and style caught on quickly and launched him to the forefront of the jewelry and fashion world. All his designs are very geometric and modern, both, his original vintage pieces created for Cartier and the contemporary creations are highly collectible. Dinh Van pieces are very fashionable, sophisticate and easy to wear, also can be displayed as a small toys, sculptures and "Objets du Vertu".
