This is a beautiful vintage ring created in Paris France by the artist jeweler Jean Dinh Van, back in 1990. This iconic Menottes ring has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish and white gold for the settings of the diamonds. Embellished with a stupendous assortment of eleven white colorless diamonds.
Diamonds: Mounted in a pave setting, with 11 round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total weight of about 0.38 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-2 clarity.
Weight: 10.6 grams, (6.80 Dwt).
size: 7 and may be resized up or down on special request, (French size 54).
Measures: 16 mm by 20 mm (0.63 x 0.75 Inch) and raise 4 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; the eagle's head for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's mark cartouche Ste DD (Societe Dinh Van), the gold assay mark and signed in full as follows, "DINH VAN G.750 54".
Jean Dinh Van
He is a French designer that began is successful career in the 1960 designing for the French jewelry houses of Cartier and Pierre Cardin. In 1972 he started his own company and the followed years his revolutionary designs and style caught on quickly and launched him to the forefront of the jewelry and fashion world. All his designs are very geometric and modern, both, his original vintage pieces created for Cartier and the contemporary creations are highly collectible.
