DESARMEAUX DO. 1932 France Semi-Automatic Screw Button Petrol Pocket Lighter

A Desarmeaux DO petrol lighter made in France.

This is a beautiful and rare antique pocket petrol lighter made in Saint Etienne France during the Art Deco period, back in 1931-1932. The lighter was designed by Louis-Marcel Desarmeaux masterfully crafted in solid brass with shiny chrome plating (original) and embellished with engine turned linear decorations. This is the second model DO featuring the patented piston-driven mechanism and a security screw lock. The lighter is in perfect original condition with no repairs and was properly tested.
