A gem set bracelet cuff designed by David Webb (1925-1975).

Magnificent bracelet cuff created in New York city at the jewelry atelier of David Webb, back in the 1970's. This exuberant statement piece has been crafted with the iconic  bombe fluted shape in solid .950/.999 platinum with very high polished finish and embellished with very nice selection of natural gemstones.

Diamonds: Pave set with 88 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a combined weight of about 5.28 carats, E/F color, VVS-1 clarity.

Gemstones: Mounted with 5 elements carved in the shape of flutes cabochon cut from natural translucent rock quartz.

Weight: 96.2 Grams, (61.67 Dwt).

Size: Fit a wrist up to 7 inches (18 Cm) and is fitted with two opening hinged parts for comfort slide..

Measurements: From the top view is 20 mm by 78 mm (0.78 x 3.08 Inches) and rise 14 mm over the wrist.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the platinum assay mark and signed in full, "DAVID WEBB 18KT PLAT WEBB"

David Webb (1925-1975), was an American jeweler. On July 28, 1948, he founded David Webb, the company, which opened at 2 West 46th Street. Among his clients were Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis  and Barbara Streisand and Beyoncé have also worn his jewelry. Born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1925, Webb was a self-taught designer whose work included dragon bracelets, Maltese cross brooches and animal motifs. In 1964, The Duke of Windsor purchased a bracelet for his wife. Diana Vreeland, a noted columnist and editor of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, was often seen with a David Webb black-and-white enamel zebra bangle.
