Cocktail ring Designed by David Webb (1925-1975).

This is the outstanding iconic elephant bangle-bracelet, created in New York city at the jewelry atelier of David Webb, back in 1968-1970. The David Webb Elephant Bracelet is a mesmerizing masterpiece from the kingdom collection and has been carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with hammered finish and parts in .900/.999 platinum for the settings of the diamonds. The bracelet is composed by seven carvings of coral including the magnificent elephant's head, which are all mounted in the gold framed corps. The elephant head is embellished with a great assortment of thirty-four natural earth mined gemstones, such; white colorless diamonds, sapphires and Colombian emeralds. The bracelet is fitted with a concealed push boxed lock and a discrete hinged slash for extra safety. With its luxurious materials and impeccable craftsmanship, this elephant bracelet is a true statement of sophistication. Sapphire: Mount on top in eight-prongs setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (10 x 8 x 5 mm) of a translucent blue sapphire with a weight of about 4.35 carats, by formula.

Diamonds: Mounted at the sides in pave settings, with 31 graduated round brilliant cut diamonds, with about 1.46 carats, white colorless F color, VS clarity.

Emeralds: The eyes are mount in bezel settings, with 2 round cabochon cut of natural Colombian green emeralds, 0.30 carats.

Weight: 126.40 Grams, (81.05 Dwt).

Size: Fit a wrist up to 7 Inches, (18 Cm).

Measurements: 78 mm by 30 mm (3.08 x 1.18 Inches) and raise 30 mm over the wrist.

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the marks for the assay and warranty of the gold and signed as follows, "©WEBB PLAT 18KT".

David Webb 

He was an American jeweler. On July 28, 1948, he founded David Webb, the company, which opened at 2 West 46th Street. Among his clients were Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Barbara Streisand and Beyoncé have also worn his jewelry. He born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1925, Webb was a self-taught designer whose work included dragon bracelets, Maltese cross brooches and animal motifs. In 1964, The Duke of Windsor purchased a bracelet for his wife. Diana Vreeland, a noted columnist and editor of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, was often seen with a David Webb black-and-white enamel zebra bangle.
