Rare geometric bracelet designed by Aldo Cipullo for David Webb.
This amazing piece was created in New York city by Aldo Cipullo at the atelier of David Webb, back in the 1970. It is a rare inedit geometric bracelet carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The design is composed by 7 flexible elements one of them fitted with a discrete push boxed lock and two hinged slashes for extra safety.
Gemstones: Featuring 14 rectangular curved pieces carved from natural vivid royal blue lapis lazuli.

Measurements: Has a lenght of 7 inches (17.75 Cm) and a width of 26 mm (1.02 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the gold assay mark and signed. "DAVID WEBB 18KT G63".
David Webb (1925-1975) was an American jeweler. On July 28, 1948, he founded David Webb, the company, which opened at 2 West 46th Street. Among his clients were Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Barbara Streisand and Beyoncé have also worn his jewelry. Born in Asheville, North Carolina in 1925, Webb was a self-taught designer whose work included dragon bracelets, Maltese cross brooches and animal motifs. In 1964, The Duke of Windsor purchased a bracelet for his wife. Diana Vreeland, a noted columnist and editor of Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, was often seen with a David Webb black-and-white enamel zebra bangle.
Aldo Cipullo (1942-1984), was an Italian born jeweler. He born and was raise in a family of designers with jewelry traditions, his father was the owner of a jewelry factory and his brother Renato Cipullo made jewelry designs for Christian Dior. Aldo, was the creator of the popular and iconic Cartier bracelets, love and the nail, still until today considered ones of the best designs of the 20th century. He work as a designer in New York, for David Webb (1960-1969) and Cartier (1969-1975). In 1975 he found his own company as a freelance designer.

Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
