Outstanding pair of clip on earrings created by David Balogh, back in the 1960's. This modernist pair has been crafted with a bombe shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished finish. Fitted with posts (Removable) for pierced ears and comfortable hinged French omega backs for fastening clips.
Sapphires: Mounted in four-prongs settings, with 20 round faceted blue sapphires with an approximate of 2.04 carats.
Birthstone: Sapphires for the month of September.
Weight: 27.40 Grams, (17.56 Dwt).
Measurements: 26 mm by 24 mm (1.02 by 0.95 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark inside a triangle cartouche, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "B 18KT ITALY".

The David Balogh jewelery atelier, was located in Coral Gables, Florida at the 242 in Miracle Mile Avenue. Was very active serving the community during the 1960's until the cease of operation in the 1990's.

Condition: The overall condition of these earrings is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All sapphires are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
