A Cinnabar lacquer wood box

Very nice antique Chinese export box, with a lid, made in the 19th century during the Victorian era (1838-1901), circa 1890's. It is finely carved in cinnabar and shows on top the landscape of a garden with a wood house and two peoples. All this scene is framed, inside a border designed with geometric patterns and symbols.

Have a total weight of 370.5 Grams.

Measures of 140 by 95 by 38 mm (5.5 x 3.75 x 1.5 Inches).
